I’m an award-winning, Cincinnati based creative with over ten years of experience in design. I believe that brands find the most success when they understand and genuinely meet user’s needs. So, I’m happiest when I’m able to employ my aptitude for strategic thinking to craft holistic consumer experiences that do just that. I love to learn and find joy in creative collaboration. Fortunately, my work in a variety of design fields and cross-disciplinary environments has provided ample opportunities for both.
Most recently, I found success at Organic where I played a key role in conceptualizing and executing an award winning campaign resulting in unprecedented results for our animal healthcare client. When I wasn’t dreaming up large-scale campaigns or developing new brand identities, I was designing marketing communications where I worked to ensure even the smallest element was working it’s hardest.
“Welcome to the Family” video ads deliver an arresting introduction to Elanco’s collection of pet protection products. Dramatic pacing combined with a distinctive visual style catch viewer’s attention. Then, a delayed product reveal and surprising injection of humor keep viewers from clicking “skip”. This unexpected take on parasite prevention piqued audiences’ interest, resulting in a 65% increase in click-through rate for online videos year-over-year when compared to other Elanco campaigns.
Associate Creative Director: Gretchen Fontova, Senior Copywriter: Lauren Bishop, Animator: David OttingI took cues from mafia movies, noir films, and graphic novels to develop a visual style worthy of Elanco’s criminally effective collection of products. After exploring a variety of scenarios, we worked hard to strike the right balance of humor and drama in each moment. We aligned on two distinct sequences that struck just the right note, incorporating ample assets from the established brands without sacrificing a mafia-style flair.
We collaborated with Google to develop a series of six second “bumper” video ads. These ads leverage YouTube’s sequencing function to ensure a single viewer never encounters the same ad twice. Even better: we were able to dynamically serve ads to different viewer profiles and gain data on how to best connect with different audiences within the context of the “Welcome to the Family” campaign.
